Tefillin Demonstration
One of the benefits of purchasing Tefillin from us is that you can come into the office and we do a 45-minute to 1 hour tutorial and demonstration on Tefillin.
We go through exactly how the straps and boxes are made and how the Parshios are written. We answer the commonly asked questions such as:
-Why is there two Shin on the Shel Rosh?
-Why does one Shin have three heads and the other four heads?
-Why are the hand and head Tefillin different?
-What are Tefillin made from?
If you are looking to purchase a pair of Tefillin. After the tutorial, we will show you the options of straps, boxes, and Parshios. You can hand-select and custom-make your own pair.
Once the Tefillin are assembled you will return to pick up the Tefillin. At that time will size them, go over how to put them on properly and give you maintenance tips to ensure you know how to properly care for your Tefillin.
If this is your first pair or if you are looking to buy a pair for your son becoming Bar Mitzvah this is a very hands-on rewarding learning experience.
If you are purchasing a pair of Tefillin we include this tutorial at no charge. If however you are not purchasing Tefillin from us there is a charge of $175 for our time and expertise.
